Mônica Contra o Capitão Feio (Castelo do Dragão Hack)

I wanted to share some pictures of my hack.
I am redoing many things that TEC-TOY did not. I put Monica's friends in stores, accents, Monica's Sprites from the second game, Captain Ugly as the final boss and much much more. I changed the name of the game because now she faces Captain Ugly as the final boss and not the Dragon. I used several sprites from opengameart.org ... it helped me a lot! Thanks to Emulicius he is able to do other things that were not possible before. Thank you Calindro! Soon I'll post more news. |

Hi!
Wow, what a cool hack! I hope that you can finish soon! Also, may I ask...: -The hack will maintain the Monica's dress color change when purchasing a new armor? Or Samson can change the sprite when getting a new "sword"? -The bosses' change will be based on Monica's Gang villains (taking out Captain Ugly)? If so, which are? Thanks. |

I really like how your Monica sprites are much more accurate to the source material than Tectoy's. |

- Yes - Unfortunately only Captain Ugly and his "dirty guys"... Because he has no more characters that accompany his gang. The other bosses I'm doing kinda random.
Yes ... Tectoy did not have the same commitment as the second game. |

Anyway, good work and thank you very much for answering me! Don't mind, but, what about the bosses' (and items') designs be inspired upon the Monica's adaptation of the game issue or on the manual/box art depictions of them? (I wouldn't bother if it's only a palette swap) Also, the 'letter to Betty' sub-quest characters will be (spoilers) Maggy/Toddy? |

Looks great! I like the changes you made with the buildings. Looks more interesting, and the darker colors for the roof tiles make it pop a bit more. | |

Great progress! I like the new sprites for the "vitamina" and "suco", they look cute.

Not yet. I was able to edit the pointers and use the Japanese font. Now you can use uppercase and lowercase letters. I'm editing all the bosses too. But every day I'm working. |

I'm out of time because of work. Now just a few enemies left. I've already changed all the bosses. I learned a lot over time so I ended up improving things I had already done. I also changed all the stores. They are using the Japanese font to use uppercase and lowercase letters. I modified practically all the text in the game. I didn't post anything else here because.... aqui brasileiros são ignorados. |

Glad that the project is closing to finish! =) But...talvez eu seja o único (ou um dos) a se importar. Espero ansiosamente (no bom sentido) o lançamento. Enfim teremos um hack que faz jus à tela inicial e aos que jogaram! ;) |

Fala Doki beleza? Coloco também na parte Retrô do fórum da Outer Space. Infelizmente tive que dar uma pausa pois reabri minha loja (graças a Deus) e fiquei sem tempo. Em home ofice sobrava mais tempo. Em breve vou voltar para o projeto que já se encontra em 75% concluído. |

Fala irmão, depois da pandemia voltei 100% pro trabalho e fiquei sem tempo. Mas assim que dá eu to mexendo nele. Achei um bug chato perto do final do game e to tentando resolver. |

Fala meu amigo, beleza? Não é querendo ser chato, só lembrei desse projeto e vim ver se tinha algum avanço. Uma dúvida: você planeja mudar a inteligência artificial e a movimentação pra ficar mais parecido com a versão de arcade? A de master é realmente toda capada, não tem a maioria dos inimigos nas fases por exemplo. Abraço |

Fala irmão blz? Tive q dar um tempo pq voltei para o trampo presencial. Falta algumas fases dar um ajuste mas ta quase 100%. Infelizmente não sou tão bom assim para mudar esse tipo de coisas. Vai ser mais a parte gráfica mesmo. Um abraço. |
