This is (one of) the reasons we're doing this. Once we confirm that this test is indeed accurate (and independent from the attached hardware) then you will be able to know what's inside without having to open it.

Being confident this is indeed an accurate test for Twin ASICs GameGears, here's the SMS Test Suite 0.34 beta ROM for your enjoyment.
