George Foremans KO Boxing

I think that George Foremans KO Boxing should be listed as a seperate game and have the tag 'REBRANDED'.
I dont think it should be lumped with Heavy Weight Champ and James Buster as it has completely different graphics to the other two. Geraldinho and Chapolim x Drácula have their own listings and they only changed the player sprite. Thoughts? |

I'd agree. | |

Yep I'm also backing this, as I said a few years back.
*Sprites different *Graphic Size different *Layout different including the power gauge in a different spot. *Foreman has cheats, Heavyweight Champ doesn't. *Some unique/rearranged music in George Foreman. *Music swapped around, just listen to round 1 in both games. *Heavyweight has tips during intermissions, Foreman doesn't Two games closer related to one another, but considered different on here. Based on the George Foreman listing, these should be either considered rebranding also: *Anmitsu Hime & Alex Kidd in High Tech World *(SG-1000) Pachinko & Pachinko II Considered Separate Games. Agreed, change it. |

Why does the GG Heavyweight Champ title screen say the game was made in 1976? LOL | |

Very interesting topic. I have no opinion because I only played Heavy Weight Champ but I want to know how It ends.
Regards from Spain. |

There was a Sega arcade game called Heavyweight Champ from 1976. |

At this point it's hard to remember George was a boxer. :D
I see the pose on the box and think he's resisting a car repair bill. (in the mid '90s he did commercials for the Meineke chain of car mechanics) But of course now he's probably most associated with his grill. |

Apparently that original arcade game has never been dumped.
https://twitter.com/frankcifaldi/status/1512569354142904327 Haven't checked the clip, but that is assuming it even can be "dumped". (that video preview image, I'm seeing something above stick figure graphics, which I think was about the extent of mid-70s graphics tech) I have seen how Ni****do made two games with titles better known as NES titles, which I believe used film projection. |
