Need Help! with Light Phaser + Mega SG

Hello everyone, I am new here but I have gotten some translations and hacks from this website 👍👍
So Ive had a light phaser for a few years and it works perfectly with my master system and power base converter. I recently tried to use it on my mega sg which I have hooked up to a CRT and the lightgun just wont work. It registers the trigger and the screen flashes but Its not picking up the direction of where im pointing. I tried like 4 different games and none work, yet with my master system on the same tv it works perfectly...

Yes. Thats the whole reason I got their DAC digital to analog converter. Ive seen people using it to play light gun games on youtube.

If same gun works on same TV with a Master System I think you should contact their customer support.

Do you still have the Genesis/PBC to test with? Would be good to just make sure the Phaser hasn't gone bad. Or at least how long ago did it work?

If it is a late 90s crt, try fiddling with bright and contrast controls. Also sharpness may help.
