No, unfortunately the Japanese card games lack the valid checksum and header needed to pass the bios check on a western system but you can download Bock's Boot Loader to an everdrive if you have one which will allow you to boot Japanese card games.

The only Japanese Card game I remember as working correctly on a European System is Hang On. Woody Pop famously loads, but lacks the code for the Paddle Control to work on Non Japanese Systems...

Or DIY your own Paddle Control, who also have a switch to chance the control scheme between Japan and Export modes (but could be nice if Raphnet could sell an already done Paddle Control.

Now revisiting the original thread who talks about the Raphnet's DIY Paddle Control, I saw some cited games had the protocols to check the console's region and Paddle Control schemes to make the games compatible with an Export Paddle when running at an Export System, and the games cited was BMX Trial: Alex Kidd and Wood Pop. And combined with the fact there's a line at Raphnet page who says "many games include code to support it", so that means some of the other five Paddle compatible games can not be compatible with an Export Paddle?

Just to note, there's the list of all seven Paddle Control compatible games:
> BMX Trial: Alex Kidd;
> Galactic Protector;
> Megumi Rescue;
> Super Racing;
> Woody Pop;
> Out Run;
> Out Run 3-D.
