Hi,
some people are already aware of it, i've open a store, 2MINDS, focused on our beloved Master System!

Hopes this will really add some light (and love) on the Master System scene and bring some new exciting games.

For this grand opening, there is 3 games.

Heroes against Demons (by me, lol)
(Puzzle / Match-3)

Bara Buru (by Kagesan)
(Arcade / Bubble Bobble like)

Flight of Pigarus (by Kagesan)
(Shooting / Caravan shooter)

For complete details visit https://www.2minds.fr/en/

I've designed a new board, more versatile for upcoming & future titles (see attached picture).

NB. I've read some comments on Elotrolado (spanish forum) about the Pigarus's price. The difference is from the FeRam component needed to hold the score/replay (sram without battery - 256kb). Price are not based on game size (or length) but on needed electronic parts, prints, tax, etc.

Contest !

With Kagesan we've decided to make a contest for Bara Burū and Flight of Pigarus releases.
Special prizes for the winners!
Proto cartridges (dedicated by Kagesan)
and "Ranking" T-shirt (for 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner)!

Announcement will be officialy made in few days.

Regards,
Fabrice / Ichigo

Merci Marco !

@dink, on the previous little release of Pigarus (made by Kagesan), i've already used Fram (FM1808 from Ramtron) on it ;)

On this new one, it will be a MR48V256 from Lapis.

Hi Ichigo, thank you for explaining the reason behind the different price of Pigarus.

About your project, I believe it's a very big step in the sms scene and I really hope more games will come and maybe more people will be interested in developing games for our favourite console.

I own Heroes, and the quality of your product is sensational. I will buy the other two games for sure.

Good luck!

Best of luck with this new project, I think are really good news to this comunity.
Could not be easy start in Covid time, too much pockets are now very low but be patient, I´m sure I will see the advert of sold out wait next batch many times.
The idea of the T-Shirt is great and hope to see more merchandising of games, I remember you made keychains and other really good items.
While I am writting this words I remember the idea that I have too many T-shirts about master system but no one of this forum, could be great to make T´shirts with the forum color and SMSPower logo, could be other way to support this forum.
Really impatient to see how 2minds grow and offer more physical releases, I don´t know if it is possible but this a list a games I want to buy a physical release:

Cimmerian
Rick Dangerous
Alex Kidd 3
Galactic Boogers
Silver Valley
Galactic Revenge
Sunny the Mermaid
Simsons Trivia

Could be great too a multigame cart with various games, let´s see what you decide to make.
Now it is not possible, there aren´t videogame events, but when world will be Covid free be sure most of us will contact you to show and distribute your games in classic videogames events.
Best of luck again

Another interesting game in my opinion would be Sidney Hunter, but I don't know if there is any chance of getting its license.

I don´t think so, because CollectorVision have the rights for the game they´ve created by their own. They sold their games for 60 bucks each with used carts... I´ve got mine super dirty.

I see a bigger chance in Digger Chan and Voyage ;)

well, CollectorVision might be interested in releasing a new run of cartridges on 2Minds publisher, why not?

Maybe they don´t want to share any money? But that´s thin ice, I don´t know them that good and I also don´t know much about that kind of business. It´s worth a try if they want it^^

Thanks for your nice comments/ideas ^^

Pretty sure CollectorVision do not want to eat their margin. So if a new run will be made, they will make it themselves.

For "Voyage" and "Alex Kidd 3",
i'm currently helping Yeti and Badsector on electronic part (and few other minor things)

I can't publish "Alex Kidd 3" (as its illegal) and Badsector will make himself at least the first batch of "Voyage".

I must contact Eruiz, but not until january (already too much work)

Silver will need graphical modifications (remove all parts from existing well known games)

Galactic Revenge seems good

Bonjour Ichigo,

@Modération forum :
Je me suis permis d'écrire en Français car à la base je voulais plutôt passer par messagerie privée, mais n'étant pas familier avec l'interface de ce forum ET allergique à la bureautique, j'ai improvisé...

Hi Ichigobankai,

I have a question regarding postage. If I buy 2 games. The postage quoted would that be for a small box or an envelope. If its a padded envelope. Is it possible to pay for a small box. Reason as my posty can be a bit dodgy here. Many thanks 🙂

Thanks Ichigo!!! Really glad you accepted my registration AND used our video to help out Pigarus shooters!

I think i'll be best to explain some thing about it, though, since i'm the player on the 5min mode shown.
First of, please don't be afraid by the video hitself!
We are used to play shoot'em ups for YEARS, and so to develop some kind of advanced technics to it.
If you need any explanation about a precise action or spot, feel free to ask!

You got to observe key bonuses (you got the "Bonus list" on the left during video to ease your way out on this), its the first step to optimize your runs.
Then, if needed, we'll talk about quick kill, strategic locations and tactical approach!

I think an average player could reach about 50.000pts on 5MIN run when destroying Boss2. It is not that easy on the first tries, but hopefully a 5MIN loop isn't that time-consuming so....try again & again!
Exact same average player must be able to reach about 80.000pts when special bonus are gathered, so even when putting skill aside, one could be very close to 100.000pts after mastering the game for real.

Practice makes perfect!

@Rezer, i'm only using cardboard, no envelope.
But even with carboard things can unfortunately be damaged.

Shipping cost is really a problem, at least, here in France. It gets very expensive to send goods outside when your package become "big" (thicker than 3cm... not really what i'm calling big, but thats the limit).
Its pretty hard/ kind of stupid to ask for shipping cost expensive than the goods itself.

@TOMaplan,
you're welcome.

@Ichigobankai

Totally understand in regards to pricing, which makes it hard. If it helps I just did 2 separate orders. If possible if you can send like the last time. Hopefully the posty will be kind to my parcels.

Looking forward to playing these, and can't wait to see future games being made. Your quality is just awesome :-).

Ps I noticed I haven't seen your posts in the sega Facebook sites. I am sure many there would love to get their hands on your games. If you like I am more then happy to post around, and hopefully send some more customers your way. Or are you trying to keep this small batches?

I would like to thank you for this groundbreaking ideia you had. A SMS Platform that will make possible to release the body of work from several SMS aficionados in the last 10/15 years.

I Will buy whatever game you release.

It would be awesome if you could rerelease homebrews like AKMW2 or the recent release from yeti AKMW3.

Cheers!!!

Thanks for your kind words Dezanuebe

Unfortunately things like AK2 or 3 are impossible to produce for me... due to licence. It's a no go on my side (don't want to receive some legal infringements from sega's lawyers...)

I'm already happy to help Yeti for AK3, even if its only on few parts.

ichi, thank you for setting up shop and delivering these amazingly high quality products to our community!

The new cover artwork for these games is stunning, who is the artist?
The PCBs and overall workmanship looks amazing on these products.

I hope you are around for a long time and that these are the first steps that pave the way towards Master System wealth and fame ;D

One request / suggestion: if you or your business ever fall on Hard Times, please consider doing a crowdfunding campaign or a call out to the community. All too often, I see small Retro Gaming businesses close up shop without asking for help. Please don't be afraid to call on your community to support you -- we know this is a boutique shop and we are grateful :)

It looks really amazing. I like the individual cover style, which is something new, but it still has a Master System feeling.

I am a bit angry with this situation.
I have bought the Badsector's edition (not received yet) and now 2Minds releases its version, cheapest but above all, with different style cover, so there are two different versions but we did not have the information to choose which one to buy.

I support everything that is released for Master System but I do not like these things to happen, not being able to choose and with a minimal time difference between versions.
