Sega sg-1000 MK 2 Weird Problem

Hi
I brought a Sega sg 1000 Mk 2
I have used it on my led tv without any special adaptor box, just aerial lead.
I can basically make out the game with a fuzzy picture but no sound, just buzzing.
Anyway when I play a cart for a few minuets its fine, then the scrolling on the game slows down then the picture goes garbled glitchy and unplayable'
I have re-caped the console and replaced the voltage regulator
Any ideas??
