Hi, I'm planning on trying to eventually pick up the English Language Brazilian exclusives, and I ran across this on Ebay, and I just wonder if there's any way to tell if it's a real copy?

Any help would be much appreciated, and if anyone has a better source for complete Brazilian titles than ebay, I'm all ears.

First I consider the price insane, but this is up to you.

By checking his sold items, I came across a well made repro game:

and there's no mention that is a repro / conversion.

This doesn't mean anything about the "Legend of Ilussion" game, but it's a really bad sign for me.

I think your best bet is Mercado Livre. Although paying and communicating with the sellers isn't always easy, so you probably should ask people from Brazil to help you, like Niloct (an example of his great help).

That bootleg of Triple Trouble is EXACTLY why I had concerns. And I'm a long way from spending that kind of money for that title, that would be down to when I only have a few left to pickup.

Actually I've made a few purchases from Mercado Livre by myself (+google translate). It's a great source for TecToy stuff.

Something to keep in mind about authenticity, is the serial number sticker on last page of the manual (e.g. Baku Baku manual). As you can see it's missing from that Triple Trouble bootleg.

The shrink wrap in the Legend of Illusion is far from original. Don't fall for it.
