Happy Birthday Maxim!

I wish I had some congratulatory scraps of Z80 code handy that could be coaxed into something awesome and birthday-worthy.

Also a belated Happy Birthday to Niloct, I just re-read the post you linked to and it all made sense. :D

Well Maxim, I think compliments for nothing in return are acceptable in this kind of date, so Happy birthday!

And this reminded me of something... hmm:

Strange that nobody else posted until the 9th...

Anyway, I had a generally crappy birthday, no presents, no cards... but I did take a day off work and do lots of work on in_vgm. (Now I just need to take another 100 days off and it might be finished.)

Usually you know you are a geek when the first ten messages you receive are from forum software/bots e-mailing you. :)

Indeed, I went hunting for my post because I remembered something similar happened near my BD (i.e. Maxim's BD hehe).

Thanks everyone for your wishes (happy belated birthday Jacko!), and let's not be shy, by some wiki or mod (http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/187), let's disclose BD dates to our little community =D

This phpBB mod is crappy, all it does it give you a popup window on your birthday. I might try to make a custom mod. Or migrate to phpBB3, perhaps.

Happy late birthday, I hope next year you would have a better one than this year but at least you took a day off work.

Ah I was thinking "that's a bit sad" but recalled back to my last birthday and it wasn't too dissimilar, even with the coding..... just another day right? ;)

Anyways happy belated birthday. :)

It turns out there was actually a postal strike on my birthday, everything turned up the next day. So it wasn't so bad.

There are variety of threads scattered around but planting on this very thread seems appropriate. Humble reminder that all-around tinkerer and smspower's master-of-the-web-things Maxim is having somewhat of an anniversary okay.

(Everyone's welcome to decide today may be their chance to turn their afternoon or evening into a self proclaimed new Rush Coding/Music/Art Competition.... see Rush Coding Competition #2 https://www.smspower.org/Competitions/Coding-2015-RushCodingCompetition2)
