Attempting to design 3d printable parts for bad condition SMS.

Hello, first post in this forum.

So I took the plunge and I went and bought a master system.
I kind of knew it was not going to be in perfect condition, but I went and bought it anyway.

It finally came in the mail, and it was in really bad condition lawl.

Not dissuaded, I've decided to go and try fix the unit as best I can.

To my surprise nobody had made this part yet, so here's a replacement Cartridge door. I cant post links as a newbie, but it can be found on thingiverse quite easily.

Added some structural support to the hidden side, as the part tends to flex when under use.

That looks really cool!

Unfortunately I do not yet own a 3D printer myself but think it would be interesting to design a entire case for the SMS, maybe even something with a unique design.

In my case I have a Sega Cd 2 that I need one piece to hold the cd on its place but I haven't 3D printer to solve it :(
