There are not many out there but there are some, like F-16, cyborg hunter, operation Wolf and Space gun come to mind...

Don't you think such a tag would be helpful?

Oh I do think that. I was pointing out another game that could make use of it, and why such a tag would be warranted :)

Make the list and we can add the tag. We prefer to not start without knowing the full list.

It would be good to document exactly what it does, and if it’s optional or not.

"Dual Pad" games could be a nice tag.

And consider to not include games who askes inputs of the Control 2 to activate cheats, once the idea is to tag single player games who needs two pads to play.

Well the list so far is:

-Operation Wolf (2nd pad to activate smart bombs)
-Space Gun (2nd pad to select gun beams)
-Cyborg Hunter (2nd pad for weapon select menu)
-F-16 Fighting Falcon (2nd pad for... well half the game inputs are mapped to it, really. See at https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/sms/588060-f-16-fighting-falcon/faqs/16444)
-Zillion II (2nd pad to select Apple or Champ once rescued)

Can't really think of others right now.

Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap uses the second controller's buttons to Pause. As we have the Pause button at the console and having a second controller in this case is just a redundant function, we can consider is as a essential function to receive the tag?

I personally think that pause on the second controller deserves the tag. Sure, you *can* play the game without it, but it's likely you'll want to place the console next to you. Also, I didn't know about it, so if anything, it can let people know the function is there XD

What do others think?

I think we can tag these as “optional”, and on the tag page list the details.
