Unused Sega Mark III product numbers

Following something Kenneth mentioned recently.
Those product number in the Japanese Mark III / Master System release list are unused: G-1311 G-1333 G-1350 G-1368 G-1372 How could we guess what games they were? Since Out Run 3-D and Rampage were announced for Japan, maybe they would have filled the later holes G-1368 and G-1372 (see ) Also Choplifter could very well be G-1311 since it was an early release and clearly mentioned in Japan. |

Note that it has been discussed there back in 1999:

nitron/弐斗論 post from 99年2月24日 mention that Poseidon Wars 3-D (ポセイドンウォーズ3-D) was mentioned in Japanese magazines and wonder about the game.
Yonedadada (よねだだだ) on 99年2月25日 answers and mention Cube Zone that was mentioned in Beep near the Phantasy Star contest:
Gemer answers that Poseidon Wars 3-D was released in foreign countries but he hasn't seen it yet.
Nitron/弐斗論 answers and guess Cube Zone = G-1350, Poseidon Wars 3-D = G-1368, Out Run 3-D = G-1372
Not much more information. Later in the BBS gemer mention C-62 being SG-1000 "Champion Ski" (チャンピオンスキー) (unreleased), E-102 being "Kraphic" (Graphic?) (クラフィック) and B-51 being "Home Basic Level 2B" (ホームベーシック LEVEL 2B) Note: the japanese text are intentional to increase chances of some Japanese people finding this topic and helping with informations. |

Those have been swiped away from the internet. The page is still up at http://www7b.biglobe.ne.jp/~tera2009/sega/ and some contents, including the BBS files are gone. I have uploaded of my my backup from 2000 which includes them: http://www.smspower.org/sites/SegaMarkIIIWebpageTera-20000523 The site index is: http://www.smspower.org/sites/SegaMarkIIIWebpageTera-20000523/mk3.htm The BBS files are available at: http://www.smspower.org/sites/SegaMarkIIIWebpageTera-20000523/bbsindex.htm In a post here http://www.smspower.org/sites/SegaMarkIIIWebpageTera-20000523/bbs09.htm Gemer says: 感想
C-62 チャンピオンスキー E-102 クラフィック B-51 ホームベーシックLAVEL2B 知りませんでした(^○^)、まだまだ奥が深いぞいって感じです。 Which I understand that his impression/thought/guess? is that C-62 is Champion Ski, but there's no proof of that. Please note that in typical internet fashion, Champion Ski has been associated to C-62 everywhere, presumably because it has been discussed as such on smspower. |
