Get Your SMS Homebrew Published

I have been in contact with Michael Thomasson of Good Deal Games about them publishing homebrews for the Sega Master System. He wanted contact information so that they could negotiate with the various designers on things like royalties and dealer discounts. That sort of thing. Adding the SMS has been on their 'to do' list for quite some time.
He'd also like to know where to find exceptable cases and cartridges. I know that such new cases exist because I have physical copies of both "Bread and Butter" and "Porkopolis." They didn't use donor cases, but brand new ones. It would be much simpler for me to add his contact info here than for me to contact each programmer/designer separately and try to act as a go-between. If you are interested in seeing your game published in physical form then please contact: Michael Thomasson Good Deal Games service@gooddealgames.com |

I don't think that new cartridges exist at all AFAIK.

Donor cartridges should be doable. Back when they were still in business the NESDump used donor SMS cartridges for SG-1000 games to make them playable on an American SMS. I have several of them. Plus, Atari Age still uses donor cartridges for all of their home brew releases. |

Ichigobankai has been making new cartridge boards, see e.g. http://www.smspower.org/forums/17434-FlightOfPigarusLimitedPhysicalEdition

What kind of cartridge cases would people want?
For my own games, I would use something universal, like http://www.smspower.org/forums/15915-CartridgeCaseIdea, but I guess many would prefer cases that look like the originals (probably the Western variant). |

Way better if they look like the originals, but I would also settle for anything that works well and fits into the existing cases.
Krikzz has made a mold for his own Master EverDrive - but it has a hole on top (for the SD card) and doesn't seem to sell them anyway. |

While an original SMS style case would be preferable, there are only so many donor cases to be had. While not ideal, the same style case that were used on Porkpolis and Bread and Butter would be exceptable. I recently received a home brew for the 2600 that I ordered from Good Deal Games and it came in the same style case. Like I said, not ideal, but it works. |
