hi everyone! in your opinion, which are the best (technically, harmonically, etc.) ym2413 chiptunes (alone or combined with sn76489) from classic Master System games?

Well, there's only one combined tune and it's extremely good. I'd single out Ys as a very good use of the chip.

I should be more clear - only the Japanese BIOS Space Harrier demo uses both chips. We suspect that the Mark III can't use both at once (it switches, it doesn't mix them), and thus software that does both is only compatible with the Japanese Master System - and the only example of that is the software inside it.

Ys is a good YM2413 soundtrack. Then again it's a good PSG soundtrack too.

Ummm, I am not really sure, but I think Sonic 1 FM Hack uses both FM & PSG

Well, modern homebrew doesn't really count as classic games...

Even on Mega Drive, Sonic's jump sound is the PSG. It's sometimes surprising how much Mega Drive music uses it too.
