I picked this game today on a shop.
And it says on the box "Includes 64k-bit Graphic Chip" and on the back "True 3D Gouraud Shaded Landscape".
Seeing the pictures and technically speaking I think it could have been done on the Game Gear, so my guess it that it's just more memory.
It's made by Sportsmaster (a Codemasters division), btw.
I'll check everything ASAP, now I'm going to work (DC awaits me :)
