Jeez, and it only took three days for the changes to go into effect. Sheesh.
It might not work for everyone right away, since the DNS servers of the world may still need to synchronize, but it won't be long.
You've finally got your domain.

I works, but it's slow as snail balls on my connection for some reason.

I noticed that too, seems to have sped up over the course of a day.
I assume it just takes time for all the domain name servers to update their databases, so if it was taking a long time it's because it took a few tries to find a dns server with a listing for it.
