[VGM Pack] Parlour Games

Admin: packs here:
http://www.smspower.org/Music/ParlourGames-SMS-PSG https://www.smspower.org/Music/ParlourGames-SMS-FM Original thread follows... ---------------------------------- I am currently creating a "Parlour Games" VGM pack... I'm just doing a straight dumping of the game's music using "Meka", and "VGMTool"... I guess there are a few things I don't know... 1) Are there any "Unused Songs" (unreachable) that I will not be able to record this way? 2) Who composed the music for this game? (I don't think that there are in-game credits, and my hard copy of the manual, is locked away at the place I used to live (which long story short, I am not welcome at anymore))... 3) When was the game released (I'm sure I could figure this one out, but if you happen to know off the top of your head...) So far I have 4 songs done, and everything is running more or less smoothly... |

You may want to have a look at the sorted list of memory trigger hacks for music - there's a memory hack for Parlour Games in there. With it, you can listen to all the music in the game (unless they've made something special with possible hidden tracks, which is unlikely). In case there's no hidden music, it will still make it easier for you to rip the ordinary music. |

Ok... I just noticed that I'm NOT supposed to have "VGM sample accurate checked"? Maybe I'm an idiot... it just sounded like something I would want to have checked! Is it possible though that it doesn't mess up the music? I already did a couple of songs with this checked and they sound fine to me... What's the difference?

Sample accurate makes the files bigger (and more accurate), not sample accurate makes them a lot smaller and in 99.9% of cases, they sound exactly the same.

Parlour Games VGM Pack READY!!

I emailed the VGM Pack to Maxim, and hopefully it should be posted soon, for all to enjoy!
Sidenotes -- 1) It took me forever because of school (but now that's over with (Thank Goodness)), so sorry if you were waiting all that time... 2) I still need to know the Author of the music... Could somebody PRETTY PLEASE help me out with this? 3) Happy New Years.... Well it may not be new years for you, depending on where in the world you are... and actually I guess it isn't anymore for me because I've been staying up so late finishing up this pack... anyways, it was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I got lazy! |
