Hello.
Mr. Question is Fumito Tamayama, and Hiroto Kanno designed the sound driver. Hope this helps. |

Do you have any supporting evidence? I know about the Fox Hero thing.

I can't post links, but on the Video Game Preservation Foundation Wiki on Fumito Tamayama's discussion page, it says how he is Mr. Question.

OK, that's the same thing (the 1993 Fox Hero listing on his archived works page). But that page says
- so he's not the composer of most tracks? Is the Hiroto Kanno thing also an assumption based on other games? |

I talked to Fumito Tamayama. He said he himself composed the music for it, and that Hiroto Kanno only designed the sound driver. He said it was his second Sega Master System game.

Well the Japanese quote says he composed a single song. Do you have his contact information to clarify? |

Also then what was his first Master System game :)
The website in question has: http://web.archive.org/web/20010724174848/http://www.parkcity.ne.jp/~cliche/html... Super Golf GG (スーパー・ゴルフ GG) 1990 Psycho Fox presumably (FOX HERO MS) 1993 is late tho Puzzle Bobble (パズル・ボブル GG) 1994 |

I'm not sure. I will ask him later today and let you know. He had to leave soon after I talked to him.

(Credits discussion moved to this thread as it's the "official" thread for the Psycho Fox VGM pack.)

I asked Fumito and he said he doesn't remember, and that all he can recall was that it was a Golf game. I gave him a list of all the golf games I could find on the Master System but he never responded. I asked him if Graphic Research developed it and he said yes.

He is on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tamayama.fumito so it's possible to contact him there. His work resume there says he worked for Graphic Research from 1989 to 1991, so it's probably correct that GRC did the sound for Psycho Fox (even though he for some reason had the year 1993 on his old website). From 1994 to 2001 he worked for Studio Cliche it says on Facebook, which means they were involved in Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move on GG then (according to his old website.) |

This is great! | |

Super Golf GG is just a port of the Game Boy game, which Fumito composed.
Hiroto Kanno composed Psycho Fox, with Tamayama apparently only doing "Skull Land". I've attached an update that reflects this. |

There's no Game Boy version of Super Golf.

If the information is reliable, maybe the update should be put online on the music page?

I'm wary of believing this sort of thing.

Even if it comes directly from the composer? :P
