Thats against ebay rules you naughty person! how much ;) ? One ended yesterday on £52 not inc p&p, I hope to get more really as it really is in excellent condition. I think i may have been overly discriptive on ebay but i know how fussy some collectors can be.

sorry to disapoint you, but that £52 auction was a one off, becuase it hadnt been on ebay for ages. I really doubt yours will reach that much, let alone surpass it.

I wouldnt be dissapointed If it went for less, Id just like it to go for more. Allthough I can see what your saying as I hadnt seen one for a long time. Dont want to be saturating the market. If anyone wants to trade with me there are quite a few games I still need ( Buggy run, Home Alone, Smurfs). It would be good if this trading forum was used abit more.

Yeah, it's pretty tough to find, especially boxed. I doubt it would reach the same kind of prices that the SMS version has been getting lately though.

I'd be interested if you're looking to part with it?

its not remotely worth that much, its about as difficult to get as power strike 2 or masters of combat, which you can easily get for £30. I bought the game a couple of days ago mint and complete for £1.99 and im not the only one who has managed that

That's insane. I also got mine for a fiver on eBay.
Certainly this game is rare, but not knowing to wait for cheap occasion is an error.

Both the ones I got (1 i jus sold, the other in my collection) were mixed in with master system consols with games on ebay. So I guess I paid simler to you guys.

But I think you can pick up any game like this if your patient. i.e. in the last 2 weeks I have managed to pick up a boxed complete hang on card mixed in with a boxed sms 1, 4 other boxed card games and 10 carts boxed all for £47 inc post.

I got Ultima 4 Complete with instructions, map and both the books that came shrink wrapped to the box origanally all mint and all for £5 buy it now.

It depends how much time you have on you hands to search them out and have abit of luck on your side.

(this could be a new topic, 'what people have got for cheap')

Are thease reports true I here about people paying £100+ for les schtroumpfs autour du monde? I have only been collecting since November 2005 (was out of work for 3 months and my dad brought round my old master system from when I was a kid to cheer me up.) I havent seen one on ebay yet.

since most, if not all of the copies of smurfs 2 are in the hands of collectors, you will probably have to pay a bit more than £100 to get a copy. To put it in perpective, theres something like 20 - 30 copies of smurfs 2 in circulation, compared to thousands of championship hockey.

You didn't looked well:

eBay link: Les-Schtroumpfs-Autour-Du-Monde-Smurfs-2-SEALED

Ok it was sealed, but we know what sealed means (sticker:)

Anyway, I'm interested in buying Championship Hockey, but for something like £40 or 60€ max...

A Hang-on boxed card? You mean the australian one? I'm looking for it too, but that's mainly the original insert (a color photocopy is pointless), since I have the rest:)

someone actually paid him £400 for smurfs2! some people have more money than sense. I hope its not a sign that master system collecting is becoming more expensive, although i have pretty much got everything now anyway.

It gets more expensive everytime someone can't wait and overbid another.

In this case, it was a Buy it now auction.
The guy saw it for 400£, wanted it, and bought it.It doesn't mean that if it was at £100 starting price, he wouldn't have been the only one bidding £100, and get it for £100...
He was just afraid to not see it anymore, and bought it.

When I was looking for Championship Hockey, it was in buy it now for £35, by the same retroboy..I considered it exoensive..now it's getting a little more expensive, but since I didn't want to put £35 in it, I think putting £40 ,now is already way more :)

Bear in mind that no feedback has been left yet by either side for that £400 Smurfs 2.

by the way adol, the boxed hang on card arrived today and it isnt a photocopy(same cover as the one in the scans section) and includes the manual (single language). It came from an english non collector who was jus selling off his old sms 1 and games. I could only see the edge of the box from the pic and couldnt even see that it said hang on, I asked him what the card games included were after I had won the item not even thinking one would be hang on, let alone a genuine complete one. It's things like this why i love this hobby :)

1) Which one are you "taking"? Don't you already have Championship hockey? Wasn't it a double one you got?

2) Which hang-on card are you talking about? I spoke about a Hang-on retro boy was selling for like £80, not for a card lot with a hang-on included..

How does your manual look like? Horizontal, like the European SMS games, and the manual included with the SMS, or vertical?

No. I have not listed another (allthough I do have another). There were two more listed on ebay the other day but one was removed the next day, I thought maybe you hade made him an offer. he had copy and pasted the description from my listing.

The boxed hang on card i won was included in a lot with other items not from retro boy. allthough it looks to be the same as the one he is selling. it has a vertical style manual. il include a pic....

No I didn't offer anything.
There was 2 Championshp Hockey, with no bid (I was waiting the end to approach). The guy you are referring to, ended it early, to start it again with a BUY IT NOW option for £90. Insane.
That's why I bid on the other Championship Hockey ( Beside the fact that that was the one I'd prefer, having an enquete card ), to forbid him to end the auction and do the same thing :)

Nice Hang-on by the way, I'll finally get one soon as well, for a fair price :)

Ahh, so it was you who won that. Good spot, I was hoping no one would notice and I could get it nice and cheap. Went a bit too high for me.

hi tonto. yes it was quite a good price in the end. all the card games are mint and complete as are the cart games apart from global defence was lacking the manual.
As for the sms it is the earlyist one i think as it didnt even come with the free hang on card. It has a warranty card with it from 'wongs kong king limited' in hong kong from 1/4/87. The controle pads still have the protective film over the shiny bits and also have the little screw in thumb sticks.
