One developer I've been particularly interested in researching is ISCO. I figured they did nothing with the Sega 8-bit machines, but it turns out I missed one entry on their website.

Game Gear
Game Title / Publisher / Year

Side Pocket / Data East / 1994

ISCO had done a number of Data East ports for the Gen/MD, BTW. Judging by this site, you'd swear this wasn't released (there's not even a placeholder for it in the scans section). But I'm assuming it was. Good Deal Games has a copy for sale and eBay's had some auctions for it in the past.

Here's the rest of their works, in case you're interested...

Here's an eBay listing for Game Gear Side Pocket out of Turkey, 10 copies available. Has this been dumped?

Judging by Youltar's new ROM mirror, Side Pocket has not been dumped. The auction ends later tonight. Anybody want to pick it up?

Thank you for finding this, CRV! I was wondering if Irem did the R-type conversion for MSX themselves.

From what I can tell, ISCO didn't really develop anything. Instead, it subcontracted development work out to other teams.
