Today, we have three new dumps for some of the most common Game Gear games in existence, from our fellow contributor aRPi. The first is Columns, in its international release. Although there's no noticeable difference, the already available version was dumped from a Japanese cartridge. Columns is a well known block-falling-puzzle game. Also well known for its easy difficulty level that can be completed by playing randomly. Try it at home! Second is Pengo, also in its international release, and with the same difference as Columns. This is a port from the old Sega arcade game. And finally, we have a minor update to Woody Pop [V1]. This is "version 1", as opposed to the original "version 0". Woody Pop is a breakout-like game originating from the Sega Master System. Note that the original product numbers for those three games are respectively G-3101, G-3102 and G-3103! Columns and Pengo were among the first batch of Game Gear games, released in Japan on the 6th of October, 1990. Woody Pop was released a bit later, on the 1st of March, 1991. |
