Froggy goes home

A nice little game today: the prototype of Frogger for Game Gear. The game was actually developped in 1991, then more recently featured by Majesco on the latest Game Gear boxes, and planned to be released. It's unsure if they actually released it.

Anyway, the game itself is quite nice, with cute graphics and level improvements over the original arcade game. It definitively worth a play.

Special thanks to Jess Ragan who provided the cartridge, dumped by Opoth (Vertigo).

Merry Christmas! Have a Frogger playthrough: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXxGYBbql1E.

Yes, as you can tell by now, I've been trying to make playthroughs for all the proto / unreleased / unlicensed games, but I can stop whenever if not appreciated (or I can take requests instead).

Surprising that Majesco didn't release the GG version when they re-released the GG.

I recall that was about the same time Konami was trying to push him as a current gaming platformer mascot, so it probably could've fit their marketing plan.
