New NES Emulator (To Zoop)
Post Posted: Thu Oct 28, 1999 5:16 am
Back at Emucamp, you wrote a message about an emulator who, I can't remember; either aimed at
perfect sound or has achieved perfect sound. But anyway, what was the name of that emulator,
who is the author, does this emulator have a homepage and when does the author plan of
release? Do you know if the author is going to either write an NSF player with his NES sound
engine or just add it into his emulator? What you wrote made my heart skip a beat or two. I'm
so glad that somebody out there, in the history of all emulation, took the time to make the
sound emulation perfect first then graphics and compadibility later. I'd say out of the 47 public
emulators out there on the net, 45 of them have absolutely crappy inacurate sound. The
remaining 3 are in order from top three are Nesticle, Jnes, and the leader so far is Loopynes.
I would like to add Mathew Conte's NSF Winamp DLL (or player) but that dosen't conincide
with emulators. But his sound engine is one of the best.

Chris :o)
