I should probably have discussed this with Omar a bit more but it was a very non-destructive mod...

RSS 0.92 feeds are now available for the forum.

All forum indexes now include appropriate headers so, for example, in FireFox you should see the little icon in the status bar for adding a "Live Bookmark", and feed aggregators can "discover" the feeds.

There are per-forum and overall feeds, each offering to show you one entry per post or just the first post of each topic.

They will show 15 items, but you can add a switch "c=nn" to the URL select a different number.

Latest 15 posts
Latest 15 topics
Latest 5 posts in the Dev forum

You need an RSS reader to view these (unless you enjoy reading XML). As I mentioned, FireFox supports RSS feeds for Live Bookmarks (but doesn't support readng the messages from the feed). Here is a list of more powerful readers.

Now there's "atom" feeds - not sure what the difference is. More of the stuff is filled in so it looks better in some aggregators. There's also an XSL sheet so you can add the parameter "styled" to get something like this:
