It goes to show you that even the most elaborate of jokes can pale to a simple one-liner. In this, it parallels everything us retrogamers have stood for for years now.
*Liberty theme or something equally majestic*
This one-liner represents the classic games of old (redundant, yeah), while considered simple, can actually be superior in terms of quality and entertainment, as opposed to some more elaborate jokes (none spring to mind, since my brain is made of cheese) which, while seem more clever, ultimately are not as good, like newer videogames, which also often do not retain the magical feel of their simple predecessors.
