Anyone remember Sega's Hologram?

I thought the game was odd, but the technology was great. I wonder what this would look like emulated? Or was it a laser disc game? Please correct me if it is emulated.

Yeah emulated =)
did you at least saw one of them? They were using a concave mirror with a screen that projected the image up and was reflected on the 'roundness' of the mirror.
I think the game itself could be played in 2d but the character (the cowboy one I saw anyway) wasnt rendered at the same time as the backround so... should be pretty complicated
