The URL is:
http://members.tripod.com/~segaha/segahana.html Come to think of it, this might not be such an obscure site. I think I found the link on the Project Megadrive page, which is linked at the SMS Power page, but whatever. It's all in Japanese. The roms are at the "Geemu" link. (The third link from the top on the left side panel.) Warnings: Some Links are dead Some zip files need to be given an ".lzh" extention. (That also means you have to unzip them using a program that can read "LHA" or "Lhasa" compression.) At least one file is a corrupt .lzh file. After a certain point on the page, the zips are password protected. The password is SONIC (must be capitalized). Most of these are Megadrive titles, some are SMS or GG title, at least one is SG-1000. |

I just finished downloading every SMS/GG and supposed SG1000 rom (there is no SG1000 rom in fact).
Everything was already released. I don't know about the MD ones, though. Any experts? |

Yeah, the guy mentioned something about SG-1000, i was mistaken. Most Japanese rom sites seem to be set up like warez sites, it's kind of frustrating. I've found some pretty weird stuff sometimes, though. |

I think he mentionned Bank Panic for SMS has being a port of the SG-1000 version.
I heard it's becoming a dangerous activity to spread roms in Japan. Some sites are even renaming their ROM to .JPG. By the way, I checked the checksum of all roms, and in fact, there was one I didn't have - or at least it's not on Meka checksum list! |
