name this game

I played this back 1992/1993 at our toy shop and can't remeber
its name... (and I finally chose buying Simpsons over it - yuck)
A (relative) new game back then, I read a review in a mag, it
was a jump'n'run, very dark colors and about killing half dead
creatures (zombies or something like that) in shinobi style...
something like ninjagaiden but the levels were not so straight
(I remember the ground was hunchbacked) and I think the character
was a bit taller.
And no, it isn't released yet, I also looked compat.txt/smslist but
could't find a name I'd have remembered...
any ideas??

All I can think of is Wolfchild but that was not as dark as you said this game is...
anyone else??

I'll scan a feww pics in from the mag review I have and post them tommorow (sorry but just about to go out now...)
I dont know if it had zombies but I can think of any other game unless it is Master of Darkness (aka Vampire) but I thought that was older than you said..

hmm... seems that it´s not wolfchild, the game I had in my mind
wasn´t in that cyber-look, but it´s a cool realease anyway...
mayby I´m going to the toy-shop to ask if they´ve got sms stuff
left, but there´s the danger of looking like a wierdo if I do
that in times of N64 and stuff...
