Meka Resoloution

I have a 4MB matrix mystique gfx card and in windows work with 1024x768 pixels. What resoloution should I set Meka to, to get the most of my screen. Right now it pretty much fills the screen verticaly but horizontoly its more like widescreen with huge gaps either side. What does everyone else use for the meka screen size?

Use 1024x768 on the GUI screen but stick with 320x240 in game - You could use double pixel and 512x384 but I think this looks dreadful (I does use all the screen though). Lower resolutions are faster anyway so you might as well stick with having most of the screen empty
