Best quality fabrication Mark III / Master System Games

This my personal opinion list after had in my hands a few sega 8 bits games. In my list are only the people that make a great quantity of games. Other opinions are welcome
6 Position - Tectoy
For me, the worst quality in production. Weakly boxes, manual in normal paper and only in portuguese, cheap cart plastic. Same game and change only the sprite of the main character for me is a poor interest. A really cheap product with low quality.
5 Position - Australian Games
¿Why a bit smaller boxes? Satured colors for inlays and manuals, looks like a bad scan work.
4 Position - Tonka
The cart stickers can easily scratched. A few american games, only English for manual and inlay.
3 Position - Korean games
Not easy in these days, they work with samsung to sell the games, but the multitap games, the 2048 mapper, great games like Jang Pung 3, they really push to the limit the master system.
2 Position - Mark III Games
Very pretty gold carton boxes, great ilustrations, but only japanese as a language. I miss a lot of games in this production.
1 Position - European Games
In my opinion the best quality in production, good inlay paper, good paper for the manual in various idioms, the cart sticker is really good, quality plastic. They can do some things better, just copy and paste the japanesse inlay images and some games will be 10x more atractive. But in my opinion this are the games with the best quality.

I don't think Tectoy is that bad. Plastic seems ok to me, the early cardboard boxes have a lot of charm even if they didn't last long and the late plastic cases are ok. Manual's paper could be better I agree, and the staples are now all rusted.
And the last time I heard, Brazilians only speak portuguese so it makes sense for the manual to be only in that language :-)
I don't like the Pal manuals in the horizontal format, they don't look right to me, and JP manuals in red color just hurt my eyes.

6.Tec Toy. 5.Tec Toy. 4.Tec Toy. 3. Tec Toy. 2.Tec Toy. 1.Tec Toy.
Yup, the quality may not be on par with other countries' publishers, but compared to what we had here back then regarding Atari, Ni****do, ZX Spectrum and MSX... It was pure gold.

Would not be surprised about Tonka production being pretty bad.
Not quite sure why Sega sold the publishing rights to them.
Tonka was a toy brand most famous for making childrens' "boys" toys such as toy construction trucks and plastic (pretend usage) woodworking tools.
Though according to Wikipeida, they did sell some toys outside their flagship line including Pound Puppies. But still, surely video games were a little different of a marketing experience that I imagine toy companies thought they could just get into like their other product lines.

I guess position 0.5 should go to Codemasters for the custom cartridges with large colour artwork, manuals with full colour covers and black ink inside, and a game specific poster bundled in.

After a long wait, I finally just recently received some games from them. I must say they definitely put effort into the packaging and look of their products. I was quite impressed.
My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that they went with the Genesis-style cases and manuals instead of traditional Master System-style. It's a quality product though.

Thanks ;)
Ps. You can replace "they" by ichigo, as I'm alone handling all of this 😅
About MD cases, there was no other choice when I've started (in 2020)

Hi Ichigo,
Yesterday, I replayed Heroes Against Demons, and I have a few questions if you don't mind:
Are there any updates about the second part?
Do you plan to release more Master System games in 2025?
Thank you, Ichigo.
I agree with 2Minds being in first position. My only "complaint" is that I’d love to see more Master System games released by 2Minds.

Hi Aranya,
I've switched "Heroes against Demons 2" in favor to "Dead Soul".
I don't have any real plan for 2025.
Maybe "Octo Unleashed" (sms), maybe "l'abbaye des morts" (GG). People tends to publish themself or with other publishers.

I hope this year you can release something new for the Master System. By the way, what a great game you managed to create; it’s very addictive, and I love it. I hope you consider making a second part at some point.
