After being defeated by Sonic on Mobius, Scourge learned that in the Nightmare World were hidden Blood Gems, and that their powers may surpass those of the chaos emeralds. He thus embarked on a journey to this forlorn place, not knowing that Dr Eggman had followed him in order to seize the precious stones for himself.
This Scourge the Hedgehog demo is a very young project, that's why it's only one level, but I may be able to provide the 2 next levels very soon. I haven't been able able to edit the music yet, neither have I taken the care of modifying the "tracks" displayed on the world map during in-between level transitions. A big WIP, but I still found it interesing enough to present it this year.

You will be able to play the next 2 levels next week, I'm finishing them right now. After that I'll try to create the graphics for toxic city, the garbage dump from nightmare world, just so that you can see how it will look in scourge'S version of this doomed place

Ahah, maybe not next week finally. I may have been a bit too ambitious. I had designed a nice big level, but errors showed up in the editor's log and now when I playtest the level it displays garbled blocks. Well, using it may prove a bit more complicated and restricitve than using Kidded. I'll have to get used to the thing before.

Yup, as I said, I have a level 2, and a level 3 too, but for some reason it's made the editor crash. I thought I had solved the problem by freeing some space in the other levels, but it turns out I haven't. Emulicious displays glitched blocks/tiles everywhere in the level, making it nearly unplayable.

With the help of maxim I've been able to fix the issues that prevented me from designing more levels. I'll now provide you with the new version of the demo, it includes 2 more levels, a Blood Gem to be collected, and a boss.

I'm presently working on improving the level transition screen. I'd like to have Scourge spraypainting the act's number in the top right corner of the screen, I'll have to take out the pencils...
