Pink line at the top of SC-3000H video
Post Posted: Tue Aug 15, 2023 11:14 am
Hi,

I'm wanting to improve the video signal I'm getting from my PAL SC-3000H.
In particular, I notice a thin pink/salmon band at the top of the display that shouldn't be there.

I see in another forum post, somebody has written up instructions for S-Video output, which I'm considering doing. But I'm wondering if there might be some other problem that I should fix first. Eg, Is this a symptom of some capacitors needing to be replaced?

I'll attach a photo of the output I'm currently getting over Composite. I'm using a Retrotink-2X Pro to convert the signal to HDMI for use with a computer monitor.

Any advice?
