I've been noticing that there are quite a few games that support the FM Unit with either FM or PSG VGM packs on this site, but not both. Let's track these down and hopefully eliminate some of them as we go along, shall we?

PSG only (no FM)

The following games already have logged FM VGMs, courtesy of Sherpa:

Battle Out Run

Cloud Master
Double Hawk

There are some quirks with these games' FM soundtracks as well, which are presumably why Sherpa didn't get to them at the time:

Alien Syndrome
- The Level Music desyncs over time in Sherpa's log. I would log it again myself to double-check, but it happens to be really difficult to log from this game due to there not really being a screen where you can play music without being interrupted.

Battle Out Run
- This soundtrack just doesn't sound right in FM (everything is an octave too low and there's no percussion).

Double Hawk
- This soundtrack includes most of Cloud Master's music as well, for some reason. Some of the tracks even vary from the versions in Cloud Master as well- do those go in the Double Hawk or Cloud Master pack?

One pack down! This one is for Atsushi in the YouTube comments section:

Another one down! This one interested me because the original Fantasy Zone on SMS never got a FM soundtrack, making this the closest we're ever going to get to that.

Sherpa had already trimmed most of the soundtrack, so why not?

Two more- these were high on my hitlist as the only soundtrack on Kazuhiko Nagai's gameography fully absent from the site (I still have to tackle FM Alien Syndrome).

Here we go, as alluded to in the last post. The trimming of the Main BGM was a bit scary.

Two down! These tunes are great.

One less FM soundtrack down for the count. I really liked the remixes in Alex Kidd in Shinobi World, and actually the originals aren't so bad either.

A friend recently wondered why R-Type and Bomber Raid were missing FM packs indeed and I forgot you posted those lists. Pretty cool we got that far already.

I actually ripped R-Type pretty soon after I posted this list but made the mistake of logging the FM soundtrack at PAL speed, which meant I had to toss my work unfortunately. I'll revisit it in due time.

Well, that motivated me to take one more off the list. This one wasn't as hard as it seemed!

So here's Bomber Raid. Really thankful for the packs that sherpa logged/partially trimmed, don't want that hard work to go to waste.

Another one bites the dust... This was supposed to be one of the first off the list, but I had to go ahead and screw it all up! Oh well, better late than never.

And another one! Seemed right to do the other soundtrack composed by Masato Ishizaki.

Hey, I don't remember doing any VGM rips recently...

That's another two down, but this time thanks to Maxim!

I guess the second is Assault City, which doesn’t have a hidden FM version after all.

I was actually referring to each version of Double Hawk, but you're right- I've removed that and Battle Outrun from the list.

Thanks for doing three more packs! The end is in sight!
