Tectoy release dates
Post Posted: Wed Dec 14, 2022 4:56 pm
A Brazil friend of mine has made me aware of some new info recently available regarding release dates. Apparently this is from E-commerce & Marketing from TecToy.

https://www.sega-brasil.com.br/Tectoy/Lista_de_Produtos_TecToy

Translated from link -
The release date of this game is official, the list with the release dates, was sent by email and authorised its use on the site by "Victor Raful - E-commerce & Marketing from TecToy".

If you have another source with a missing date, please help us by contacting us.

Note: Some games have been relaunched and may or may not contain all release dates!!!

Apparently they also know release volumes but do not want to share that info.

Just to add, if date states 01/01/2000 it is still unknown.

Great product list! Will take a bit of time to go through, but I noticed at least one unreleased SMS title that I haven't heard of before;

430
   995023490825   CMS GAME BOX - SERIE ESPORTES PASSOU   29/09/1994

The dates seem way too early to be release dates though. If you compare to the release months given on TecToy's website and compiled here there's a big discrepancy. Also comparing the dates in that list to known release dates in JP/US/UK they're also much earlier, even games with well documented development and release dates.

That combined with the inclusion of lots of unreleased stuff makes me think that the dates must be for something else, maybe for when they were first approved to get a release or something similar.
