Looking to buy Power Drive for the Game Gear as a loose cart.

Sorry i haven’t answered yet. I also realized I have no clue how much it is worth. I guess I’ll just put it on ebay with no reserve when i get the time to do so, and will post here.

I’ve been digging GG dupes this weekend to trade/sell some and couldn’t find where I put my Power Drive and some other rare loose, but as soon as I do find it i’ll post here.

Thanks it’s appreciated.
I missed out on one on eBay about a month ago too, was also about the same price but in much better condition.
My hope is a private seller, eBay fees and taxes bump the price up so much.
That or a Time Machine to go back to 1994 and get a crate boxed and new.

Hello kejoxen, i own Power Drive + manual. :)
I might be willing to sell, depending on what you offer.
And maybe you can help me find a CIB copy of Judge Dredd (european version) for Game Gear? That would definitely raise your chances.
Condition of Judge Dredd should be very good though, please no missing hanging tab, no squeezed, squashed, creased or sunfaded box and no writings, paint or large stickers on it.

Thanks for offering, I’ve been messed about four times so far so I’m not really interested in jumping through hoops, playing guessing games or completing side quests.
If you have a price PM me and we’ll discuss.

I am not responsible for any kind of whatever messed up experiences you had, sorry.
If you are not even willing to make an offer, then i guess you are not really interested.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for you to have a price in mind.
€300 including fees and postage to the UK?

I didnt say that i have no price in mind, dont know why you'd assume... ;)
See, the last three loose cartridges of Power Drive were actually sold (in march and april) for 455 Euro, 483 Euro and 499,99 Euro, while additional shipping was 15, 25 and 30 Euro (to Germany).
Offering me 300 Euro for the cartridge and manual (including shipping and taxes as well) might be funny to you, but to me its not.
I wish you the best of luck.

MY POINT EXACTLY!
if you had a price why not say it?
You want the price it sells for on eBay without paying any of the eBay fees?
And I get none of the buyer protection.
Why do we have to play the guessing game? What if I had said €1000 would you have told me I was offering too much?

FYI In Germany, there are no ebay fees anymore. That started on the 1st of march in Germany, some other european ebay sites might have done the same: No fees for listing articles and no fees when they have been sold.
I have bought from and sold games to people here before. They needed to trust me as i needed to trust them. Simple as that.
By trying to lowball me like that you didnt really earn my trust, sorry. The people i dealt with here were straight forward and honest collectors. And i dont want to change that.

Ah so as well as guessing the price you wanted I had to also know you are in Germany (something not mentioned until after I guessed, maybe my mistake as I'm on mobile and locations dont show in mobile view) that you wanted an offer in excess of what the games sold for on ebay and that ebay in Germany doesn’t charge fees so any offer I made would need to exceed what a seller anywhere else would receive from a sale on ebay.
Also because I ‘low balled’ by maybe 25-30% you don’t want to enter into negotiations.
That all seems totally fair and normal.
I just wanted to see how this would play out and I’ve not been surprised at all.

Hmm, i am on mobile view too and i know that you are from/located in the UK. And i dont even need a crystal ball, i just click on your username to look at your profile!!!
I did not know that you would be that clueless, otherwise i would have told you before.
Also, your math skills seem to be a little bit off, quite surprising for an "engineer" (at least that is what your profile tells) i have to admit.
When loose cartridges of Power Drive sell for 450 - 500 Euro without manual and shipping/taxes, then your offer of 300 Euro for cartridge AND manual INCLUDING shipping and taxes is not even close to "maybe 25-30%" below.
Not accepting your sorry lowball offer means that i want some amount in excess of what this game sells on eBay in your interpretation? Wow.
Did you even think about making a reasonable offer to start negotiations?
Obviously lowballing and not telling the truth is your way of making business. Not good.
Edit: You knew how that would play out? No surprise given the circumstances/your behaviour.

Please keep this place friendly and aim to lower tension whenever possible.
One of the reason I don't frequently sell my spares (a while ago once I ended up giving hundreds of games to someone just to avoid having to deal with ebay sales...) is that it's difficult to gauge the price of anything. In theory I have a loose Power Drive - which currently I can't find - and it would be difficult for me to tell what an OK price would be for it (less so after this discussion... but same thing apply for other items). I am frequently in the situation where people ask me to make an offer for items for which I myself have no idea how to value them.

Thanks for your opinion Bock.
I thought i made a friendly statement to start the conversation, it was not meant to be offensive.
But this part of the first response:
I’m not really interested in jumping through hoops, playing guessing games or completing side quests.
If you have a price PM me and we’ll discuss.
set a quite unfriendly/aggressive tone.
I mean, would it have been so difficult to be a little bit polite and maybe respond like that:
Unfortunately i cant help you with your search for Judge Dredd, but i am interested in your Power Drive + manual nevertheless. How about negotiating via PM?
I also mentioned the other things that got me carried away a little bit and triggered my honest but offensive replies.
But its ok. I can definitely draw a line under this, we all have bad days from time to time.
