Master System instruction booklet template
Post Posted: Wed Mar 09, 2022 6:41 pm
Hello there!

I've searched high and low in the whole forum but couldn't find anything.

I'm thinking on doing my own "msword" template, but unfortunately, all my booklets are stored somewhere else and I can't get those pesky measurements.

Any help?

I think your best bet would be to take inspiration from the manuals of Kagesan's homebrew games, since they're available in PDF format.

I can share my templates, but they are in InDesign format.

Hey Kagesan, please share your Indesign templates, I will convert them to ai or svg and I will share them again.

I would like you to continue with Dead Gunner. I tried it a few years ago, and I liked it.

Hey Aranya, too bad you did not tell me such thing before :O!!!

It's true that one game style I did not touch is a contra like game, and dead gunner is the nearer game I have done (although I find many matches in Electronic Dreams)... the thing is that this year I rewrote the engine and now I can develop some things in an easier and faster way... and maybe in the future I could try such thing...

This year I touch other different genre, but don't worry, you will have hundreds of enemies to shoot and kill, with different weapons, and many levels, in a new original (not a remake) game from mikgames!!!

It sounds like a Smash TV game, and it would be awesome—I love Smash TV.
Maybe adding a 2-player co-op mode would be a good idea, as the Master System is not the most popular console for two-player games.

I’m always keeping an eye on your projects.
