Hi guys, I'm starting to create the Nes Castlevania hack for the Master System with publisher Kidded, after leaving my project, Castlevania The New Generation, unfinished. So far, I have only created the Castle Entrance stage,In addition, I have added the Castlevania theme that a fan created with Deflemask, I thank you. I hope you like them. Best regards

Nice, are you gonna upgrade the graphics or let them like the Nes version?

I thought it was cool ... but it would be nicer to upgrade using the colors that the Master has. Since it's a Castlevania for the Master, use what SMS has to offer.

Congratulations for the project! You should definetly go for upgraded graphics. This will make your game unique.

As it’s a KiddEd hack, you won’t be able to reasonably include all the Castlevania gameplay elements so I think it’d be better to instead recast it as “Alex Kidd in Castlevania World”, make the art a bit more colourful/cute and play to the engine’s strengths, based on the Castlevania levels.

This would make a pretty sick physical edition with cartridge, case etc. The art/graphics look lovely too mate. A real labour of love. Do keep us informed on your progress.

Thanks so much!It would be a dream, to get a physical edition, but it is something that is still very, very far away,

Hi guys,I've already finished the first stage of the game. There is a problem, since in the first stage of Castlevania, it is totally linear, except for a part in which you have to go down to some underground ones. This would have meant cutting the stage a lot, so I've designed it all in a straight line. And it doesn't get too bad. In addition I am creating in parallel, a version with improved graphics (as suggested by some colleagues in the forum...)

Hi Ershei!, Great job, your game looks awesome.
It would be fantastic to have one day a Castlevania game for our favourite consoles.
Regards from Spain.
