Hi all
I'm having an issue with a game gear I've just recapped and I'm totally at a lose everything works fine except the left dpad button. When ever this is pressed it dims the screen and slows the music down. I've traced the line from the dpad switch all the way to the IC and no shorts or anything else. Could anyone help point me In the right direction? Thank you 😊

You are shorting something out somewhere. (This provides less voltage for the backlight, so it's dimmer.)
