Strangely enough, Youtube's copyright thing didn't freak out, so I could make a preview video for those who don't feel like blindly downloading an IPS patch. I added the link to the first post as well.

The song sounds nice. Who composed this version?

How come it fits in a 91 bytes patch, is that enough storage for the song format, or it is unlocking a song which is hidden in rom?

I tracked it by ear and I converted it to the format used by the game, thanks to the help of Calindro and ValleyBell.

The patch is so small because most of the song didn't need to be changed, only three measures (plus five notes) have been replaced, and only on one channel, all the rest (the chords and the bassline) is exactly the same. And the patch could have been even smaller, but I 00'd a few more bytes to keep it cleaner (since the replacement notes take up less space than the original data).
