Super Tennis Card has different numbers/textures

I've had this game since I was a kid in the 80s so I know the history of the one on the left.
I got the one on the right as part of a lot of games. The lines arent as defined, the black part is less glossy and also has a different number than the one I've had for decades. I should also note the booklet it came with had "Super Tennis" written in blue, mine is black. Did they do re-issues, is this from another country, or what? |

Check the back of the inlay and manual. Early releases had 'sm' by the Sega logo, later releases have "®". I've seen variations on several manuals over the years - blue/black ink, glossier paper, etc. I'm assuming this is a U.S./N.A. version and not a Euro/Pal version?

They both look identical (except for the blue ink part). FWIW, the one with black ink is easier to read. I'm not sure if the other one is PAL or not, how could I find out?

Usually PAL releases have landscape manuals, in 8 different languages

barney has written down all card variations, so we know that the following exist:
Super Tennis (EN) – fully English (Now, there are no limits SM). Super Tennis (EU) – Now, there are no limits ®. Super Tennis (DE) – Ariolasoft; fully German. Super Tennis (DE) – US insert & card (Now, there are no limits ®); German b/w manual. Super Tennis (US) – Now, there are no limits ®. Super Tennis (US) – Now, there are no limits SM. Scans of both US variations can be found here. |

That's a nice catalog
Does anyone have a catalog of the card numbers like they do the box covers? |
