I have a Majesco re-release of Sonic Spinball which has a single program ROM and a Xilinx XC9536 PLD to handle all of the memory mapping. Maybe the other 'new' Majesco games use this arrangement.

My cousin ( yeeah ) mr.jg told me that he is suspicious about the GG cartridge Sonic The Hedgehog 2, because the PCI has 2 chips and the right one ( seeing the cartridge from above with the connectors pointing down ) behaves just like a mapper chip. We've made some investigation and we would like to know a SMS Power mail of someone who also researchs Sega's 8-Bit System mapping architecture.
Stay good, my friend navigators of the unknown... ;)
