[Suggestion] Map screen capture to a joypad button
Post Posted: Mon May 22, 2017 6:14 pm
I'm trying to create screenshots for a few games, and I find it awkward to press Fn+PrintScrn on my notebook.

I know I can pause and then press the keys, but it would be better to have the option to map the screen capture shortcut to a joypad button from the Inputs window.

Is that doable? I'm using MekaW 0.73 and I know 0.80 has been in the works for a while. Is it still being developed?

In general it would be useful (and often requested) to map any control to any key or button, but it's apparently not easy...

It will be easy when I get around to destroy the old GUI and rewrite it, but but.. time.

Hmm, if the UI is the hard part, how about making it with no UI and then people could configure it manually? (Or, finish your game and ignore these requests :)
