It is a fair game! Very fun and addicting, I always used to play it on my Game Gear, some of the levels are trivial, but some others (especially some of the later ones) are quite tricky and they require some ingenious solutions to be cleared. It can keep you entertained for hours, but its main advantage is also its main disadvantage as well: it is just too damn long. 99 levels really are a lot, and even as addicting as it can be, giving it a full playthrough is far beyond human endurance. Sure there are passwords, but they don't give the same feeling a single-session playthrough can give.
Despite this, I still recommend to play Slider at least once. If it's not your thing, I'll understand. But if you like puzzle games, give it a try. And if, despite what I just said, 99 levels don't seem enough for you yet, download my level editor and make more. ★★★/5 (could've been a 4) |
