"Waaaaaaaargh!"
That's the cry of the pained programmer who finally realises that the bug in his program that he has been trying to fix for days, 99.9% of which time ws spent looking at the wrong code, is:
- a stupid error
- which he made
- which was caused by something he did
- that something being adding a feature that's supposed to make the program better (and does)
So I fixed the timing problem with FM VGMs, the drummer no longer sounds like he's having a fit. The cause? My clever pause-merging feature, part of my all-new VGM Unnecessary Crap Removal (tm) feature (which typically halves the uncompressed size of a VGM), which I'd forgotten to call before writing the FM data.
VGMTool 2 is now with my elite team of bugtesters :) and, while ugly as hell and missing GD3 tag support, is now (I think) capable of making trimmed, looped FM VGMs... mmmm, nice...
(plus: EMU2413 0.51, plugin bugfixes (anyone else get stack overflow crashes?), and much, much more...)
