Chinese EverDrives are clones of the 'old' Krikzz's EverDrive that had a few issues and they support ROMs up to 1 MB max.
Newer and original EverDrives, though more expensive, support up to 4 MB ROMs and are actively supported.

Yes, KRIKZZ always better, but these are cheaper.

Is there games above 1MB?

Phantasy Star Adventure (J) [T+Eng1.00_AGTP] - Password Fix
* The GG2SMS code is similar to the Revo v1.1 patch, but a little shorter.
* Press 'Button 1' (SMS) / 'Start' (GG) to select a diacritic mark on the password entry screen. The translation [T+Eng1.00_AGTP] did not allow entering the password.
* 'Button 1 + Button 2 + Down' - reset the game. The original game uses 1 + 2 + Start, the Revo v1.1 patch uses 1 + 2.
* _PS4font version - with the font from "Phantasy Star - The End of the Millenium (U)".
IPS patches for "Phantasy Star Adventure (J).gg" (CRC32: 1A51579D). Source code included.

GAME GEAR in GENESIS Emulator
Post Posted: Fri Mar 17, 2023 1:36 pm
Hello, I tried to load sms patches files from gg into one genesis emulator in one portable console that only has genesis emulator, not master system, not game gear.

Anybody can help me to load gg files into genesis emulator?
Thanks

You have to check if that emulators emulates SMS mode too. If it does, you should be able to run SMS games and GG-to-SMS ports too.

I'm really enjoying the multiplayer Bust-A-Move hack that was posted a bit earlier into the thread (about two years ago or so), but an issue that's been personally bugging me about it is how pausing the game is mapped to Button 1, which gets rid of the original option to aim your bubble more precisely. I'm not super familiar with assembly language compared to other types of programming, but is there a way to restore the button's original functionality and maybe remap Start to the actual pause button on the console? I got Emulicious to make me disassemblies of both the new patch and the original Game Gear version and have tried looking at the addresses I assumed would be related to the controller input ports but barely understand anything outside of a few go-to commands being nop-ed.

It's probably not an easy task, but I don't think it would be super complex unless I have to completely re-do the porting job or something crazy like that. Thanks in advance.
