Oh, thanks. I hadn't figure out yet how to upload them. Sorry ofr the many many many duplicate files and the multiple uploads and redundant pages.

Great work, as usual!

(and thanks for the extreme patience).

P.S.: I created the Out Run (GG) scans page. I'll add the scans between tonight and tomorrow morning, as well as a variation of Columns (GG US)

Tip: "medium" images should be cropped to the front only, 400px tall and 30% JPEG compression. The autogenerated image misses the first part on full cover scans.

Oh, thanks for the tip. Until now I always let it generate automatically because I didn't know what the size should be for the medium-size image.

I'll edit it tomorrow.

Tip: put variant suffixes before the "-Front" (or equivalent, where relevant). This helps the game page to sort things together. Even better is to add a suffix to any existing unsuffixed scans, to make sure things sort together. Then you get:

Columns - GG - ESRB - Back
Columns - GG - ESRB - Front
Columns - GG - No ESRB - Back
Columns - GG - No ESRB - Front

... just by alphabetical ordering. Compare to:

Columns - GG - Back
Columns - GG - Back - ESRB
Columns - GG - Front
Columns - GG - Front - ESRB

Note that when renaming a page, it's best to rename the attachments first.

Ok. I didn't have time today. I'll rename as soon as I can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

One question: Is this manual rare? (second picture) I don't know if the cartridge is European or American, but I see all the US and EU Shinobi manuals in the Scans section are in landscape format.

Ok, I've renamed the Columns scans. But I failed to change the medium size image for Out Run (BR, GG). I uploaded a front-only image with a height of 400 px and a quality of 70 (that's the same as 30% comrpression, right?) with the same name as the All Sides scan with the -medium suffix but it doesn't seem to work. It still shows the default medium image (the main image in smaller size) What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Nevermind, it works now.

I have scanned my Tec Toy SMS II Box. I don't want to lead to confusions, so I'd like to know if it shoud be in the SMS II page or the SMS I. It's called "Master System II" but it has the same design as the first model.

I think we should put all system scans on a common page, so go with SegaMasterSystem-Hardware as the base, then SegaMasterSystem-Hardware-<item specific name>-<side>, for example:

SegaMasterSystem-Hardware-TecToyMasterSystemII-Front

We can add disambiguation later if another TecToy SMS2 box comes along.

I have another (probably stupid) question: Is it absolutely safe to scan cartridges and Sega Cards? I'd hate it to have the game erased.

Thanks for your answer.

I have a question regrding naming conventions.

I'm going to add a scan of the Spy Vs. Spy Sega Card (the card itself). But the page SpyVsSpy-US-Card is already in use by the box cover of the card release. Is that correct? Any suggestion to differentiate between the cover and the card?

I'll attach the scan here in case anyone wants to decide how to add it later.

Media go on pages named after the cover page, plus the media type. Thus you'd go for SpyVsSpy-SMS-Card-Card. A bit odd in these cases where there are variants for card and cartridge, but it keeps things consistent and grouped together nicely.

I wrote for months or even longer one of you at least one email with many scans like Golvellius german manual and complete GG Batman Return manual and some mark III cartridges. The file was on a mega account and was not so small. Was the quality so bad or did somebody forget my mail. Neither i got feedback nor can i see my work in the scans section.

Scan for historical purposes but don't put it online for some years.

Could you scan that Micro News special SMS issue? it's quite a good issue. That's where there is a shot of Psycho Fox with the Aimo logo.

Hello everybody.

I'm brand new here so I apologize if it's not the correct thread :)

I've been sorting my Master System games today with the help of the site's database and I found two cover variations that were not mentioned in it :
- Phantasy Star - EU - No R
- Zillion - EU - No R

I've scanned them in high resolution, how can I send them to you?

Are these still relevant? I can definitely help with a few of those

I have:
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World
Aztec Adventure
Fantasy Zone
Ghost House (insert)
Teddy Boy

I dont plan on scanning them if you already have them though.

I wish there was a "missing" thread somewhere that got updated. I have a bunch of SMS games with manuals.

Also, is anyone cataloging the innards of the carts? I can help with that, too.

Because i don't see TSOLfan for a long time, and he can't scan missed pages for his SMS manuals, can somebody fill the empty pages?

Maybe somebody can scan
* pages 4,5 for ALF (US)
* pages 2,3 for World Grand Prix (US)
* R-Type (US) pages 18,19
* pages 2,3 Parlour Games?
