Space Harrier, lots more pics here.
Here's the list from the Samsung catalogue thread. It's possible that there were more released after the last known catalogue (Jan, 1994). Game Gear

Thanks, but the really wonderful one is Columns :) the box is different because it was a first release. I will post pictures later this month, I'm just waiting for some stuff before I post family pictures. Also some of the carts are Indeed white, none of them were gold: white is the original color. |

May be off topic, but I can't seem to find the information. It is relevant to these Handy GamBoy releases, at least the silver/gold versions. Where there is a stripe that newer copies have a picture of Sonic, in the older versions there is a picture of a different character. Is it known what this character's name is? | |

I don't know the answer, but the same character (alien/insect with four arms and antennae?) appears also in a Samsung Super Gamboy (Korean Mega Drive/Genesis) TV ad, but in monochrome line art instead of with rainbow coloration https://youtube.com/embed/la7UrCQvkqU?start=20 Also the same character appeared on Super Gamboy game boxes, this time in color: https://www.retroplace.com/en/games/36335--decapattack |

I think it is an alien, it shows his flying saucer/UFO in that commercial. Here is the text next to it from the ad:
이래나라로 오신것을 환영합니다 Which is basically "Welcome to this country that you came to" |

Nice pictures, interesting Handy Gam*Boy!
Which console region does it report to Game Gear/SMS software, I wonder? Also, any idea which Game Gear PCB revision these used, and where manufactured? Also I wonder how to decipher the serial number on that TV Tuner Pak And was there once a serial number sticker on the console itself, but now lost? |

It's a Sega serial number, D is the manufacturer (made in Japan, but don't know the exact manufacturer for that code). 1 = manufactured in 1991. I have a picture of another Handy Gam*Boy TV Tuner serial very close to this one (D10046418). Most likely Samsung imported a few thousand Japanese models ~1991 and added their own front panel and back sticker. |
