I noticed this pack was missing a few tracks some time back. On the surface, it seems as if merely checking a few tracks and updating what's missing should take less time than doing everything from scratch. In practice, it's really hard to tell if it makes a difference at all.

It's still quite time consuming, so in general I prefer to work on something new. I tend to overlook the "additional help wanted" tags, but in this case, it asked for help. Two tracks were overlooked (Dr. Wily's Castle and Game Over). Another two are unused. It got a bit confusing figuring out what hadn't been logged. It was a bit more than I initially thought. Ironically, both of the used tracks took a little longer to loop than the usual, but the two unused tracks looped perfectly.

I updated the japanese tags, updated the numbering (it had 2 tracks with - 06 -) and renamed one track. Also added the song ids to the comments. I still have no idea who the composer/arranger of this game is.

Pack updated. 18 tracks total.

Now at 1.10

Thanks to recent developments, we now know who worked on the music to this game. It is in fact Dave Lowe, whose development disks are currently being uploaded online, two of which was labelled as being from this game. One of them also contains a message from Martin Walker detailing the porting job, whose sound driver this game appears to use.

I've also credited the composers of Mega Man 2, 4 and 5 on NES, whose compositions were ported by Dave for this game (as it transpires, by ear!).

Oh, and I removed the Japanese tags. The Japanese releases of the soundtracks in fact use English, and it doesn't make sense to give this game the title of "Rockman Series" when it wasn't released outside of the US (and Portugal, apparently).
