Nice 'Special' Game Gear pack with all sorts of goodies, I had a set called 'Cockpit TV' that basically had identical items...

http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r69961790

If I was still collecting I would have definitely gone for this.

GameGear bundle including loose Tarzan - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Sega-Game-Gear-Boxed-Lot-Inc-Rare-Tarzan-Game-/120624...

HOWEVER, I would approach with caution. The seller listed this about 2 months ago and I won the auction (at £38). He then refunded me my money, saying that he had "received a better offer". Not sure why he is listing it again!

I was the one who got the Tarzan cart. I saw the listing originally and asked the guy to allow USA bidders but told him the only thing I needed in all that lot was the one cart and offered him 50 GBP for it. He agreed to list it separately for 50 GBP + 5GBP shipping so I jumped on it. Still need a CIB copy of it but at least I will have a cart copy to fill in. Or I would trade it and ALOT of cash towards a CIB copy if anyone wants to do that.

That is a nice looking Galaga 2. I would buy it but I just got one from an Australian seller last month.

YAY, I got the Tarzan cart in today and it's minty mint. That is a relief after hearing this is the guy that didn't ship it before. Anyone with a CIB copy want to trade down to a cart only copy and get ALOT of CASH in their pocket?

Does anyone know if this Pro Action Replay cart will work in a US NTSC system?

If so, what would be a good price to pick this up for?

I got my F1 cart on a BIN for £4.50.

I guess people missed out on that one as he didn't put the full game name in the title.

Ugh I can't believe how slimmy some people can be, this is the darkside of collecting. I was winning two rare Game Gear auctions for the past 3 days and a certain someone from France got both auctions pulled because he couldn't outbid me. I guess I have to blame the seller as much as the person who worked the deal with them for having no concience to do this to me in the first place. :(

That sucks, man. I hate it when you're bidding on something and then it suddenly vanishes. Happened to me countless times.

On another note, today a guy put up two CIB sealed copies of Cliffhanger on GameGear with a BIN price for £8.99. I went back on eBay 10 min later to buy one and he changed the price to £99.99. WTF!

Yep I asked that guy if he would ship to USA and he said yes, then he said WOOPS price was way too low sorry. Then I asked for pics and he put up pics but still didn't lower the price. I have 2 CIB copies but I'd love a sealed copy but not at that price.

The thing that really sucks about the "Slimy" person who screwed me on the two Game Gear items I mentioned earlier is that he is a member of this forum. Can't believe he'd do that to a fellow collector. :(

Wow now the seller who worked this side deal just emailed me and told me that she pulled them because "A relative wanted them." LOL you have got to be kidding me. The relative only happened to want these 2 games out of the 15 Game Gear games you had listed. People Suck!

I think one of the joys of being a collector is helping other collectors out, with trades and advice and stuff. If you're a "greedy collector" then you're not going to be doing yourself any favors. Yeah, you may have every game released for a system but did you make any friends on your journey? Nope.

And we all know what happened to the toy collector at the end of Toy Story 2!

Thanks dude, your post mirrors exactly how I feal. Through collecting both NES and GG over the years I have made countless great friends both internet only and ones that I've now met in person at conventions and shows etc. In fact if I had been a greedy collector and slimy like this person I never would have completed my NES collection a couple years ago as some of the friends I have made traded and bought/sold items to me expecially on my behalf because I have always been honest and happy to help out others as well. I appreciate your post as I'm very upset right now.

For those that have asked me what the items were here are the links:
KIXX version Incredible Hulk CIB:
http://cgi.ebay.com/INCREDIBLE-HULK-SEGA-GAME-GEAR-GAME-/250708888639?pt=UK_PC_V...

KIXX version Road Rash CIB:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ROAD-RASH-SEGA-GAME-GEAR-GAME-/250708917478?pt=UK_PC_Video_G...

If anyone has either or both of these CIB for trade or sale, other than a certain guy in France, let me know as I'd love to make a deal.
Thanks!

Braveheart, sorry but... I really laughed at your story.
This happens every now and then and in 10 years, it happened to me soooo many times that now, when I see something that interests me I ask the seller if he would cancel the auction earlier "because I'm very interested in bidding on it for the fair price and would be sad to see the auction ended sooner and go to someone else."
After this first mail, ever the guy says "no, I don't cancel the auctions" which is fine, I will bid 3 seconds before the end. If he says he might cancel the auction for the right price, I immediately tell him the maximum bid price I would have put.

I know it happens all the time, I'm just saying it sucks. Especially in this circumstance where there was a bid war and the guy from France on here could not outbid me as I was willing to pay more for them than he was. He originally offered her 80GBP for both. I said my bids are in for higher than that so he bid 50 GBP on each. So I bid 60.01GBP each. She then told me the guy offered her 120 GBP for both and I told her I would pay more than that as my bids were in for over 60 GBP and that I was happy to go even higher to get them. So the guy cancels his bids which drops the prices back down to 20 GBP each then the seller freaked out and said where are your bids? I told her my bids never changed the other guy dropped out. I told her to go ahead and put them up for 75 GBP each BIN's and I'd buy them. That's when she told me it was too late. So long and short I got royally screwed, seller got less than she could of, and slimeball is happy camper. :(

Personally, I don't think that I would want to deal with a seller who behaved like that; no matter how much I wanted the item he was selling... if you can't trust him to play by the rules in the auction, he won't be much good for anything else.

Someone is selling a sealed Mega Man (Game Gear) but he doesn't post out of Greece. If anybody want it, I can help you! The game is sealed but the cellophane has a small tear at each top corner. He's asking 300 euros but I think you can make a much lower offer to get it.

I don't collect GG games, so I don't know if the price is good. I only know it's a rare game and wanted to share this sale to help GG collectors...

If you are interested contact me for more details...
