Yeah he bids against me all the time but he's never outbid me on anything I've wanted. I don't know that he's a member of any forums I'm on but it would be cool to see his collection.

Ouch the guy on that 8 game Euro GG lot finally just got back to me with the shipping charge. 40 Euros for 8 games. Guess I didn't get as great a deal as I thought. DOH!

40 Euros seems like a lot.

The guy who brought my multi-cart has been booted off eBay, according to a French eBay I received yesterday. I had to run it through a translator.

A GG bundle went up yesterday with the Kixx budget version of Winter Olympics but the auction was taken down a few hours later. I'm guessing somebody made him an offer...

So Gooseman is that second chance offer on eBay I got on you 1000 in 1 cart legit? If so I will buy it yes. I just get some fake ones from time to time so wanted to confirm with you first. Although it is pretty rotten that the only person who bid against me and drove the price up so high turned out to be a fake. :(

I already have CIB copies of Euro Winter Olympics: UK version, German Version, French Version, and Kixx Version. The only one I'm missing is the Spain Version. All of mine are CIB with the souvenirs too.

Look at this joker - "Very rare GameGear triple pack"

It's just three games shrink-wrapped together!

Also: "I HAVE SEEN FANTASY ZONE ON ITS OWN, FETCH £50.00 IN THE UK AND $120.00 IN THE U.S."

Yes. And i've also seen Sonic 2 sell for £200 loose. ^_^

Just acquired this fine item:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200510732053

My Rayearth GG arrived today and is everything I hoped it would be. I've bought a number of games from this seller before and whenever I see an item of his I know three things:

1) the item is in immaculate condition
2) the item will be promptly delivered (usually next day)
3) the item will be packaged to survive a nuclear holocaust

Excellent seller. Some of his items are a tad overpriced but he's worth the extra money.

These games are cool but the seller does not accept paypal. How do you win these or acquire them?

Using a service that will bid on the games for you. It could get expensive, since you'll probably have to pay shipping both to the buyer and then to you, plus some service fees.

Braveheart, I'm shocked to learn that someone with a collection like yours does not even know about rinkya (or one of the hundreds yahoo auction bidding proxies)
http://www.rinkya.com/

As for the reading, you can browse through the game gear category using this linl

When I put in Sega Game Gear search on that Rinkya thing it says 0 results.
When I put in Game Gear it comes up with 21 results, all some version of Metal Gear games.

What gives?

You should click on the Yahoo Japan icon on the left instead of the Rinka icon on the right. If you do that and then type in "sega game gear", you'll get a list of things that includes "Game Gear All Items". Click on this and you'll get a whole load of Yahoo GG stuff and there's an icon at the top of the screen that will translate everything into English for you.

Ok that all worked fine to let me look around. But now my question is let's say I found 5 or 6 things I'd like to buy on there? Now what? I don't know if they have buy it now like eBay or if it's all bidding only? Plus what do I do, register with Rinkya place to have them bid or something?

The Price Summary icon with a picture of a shopping basket beside it looks like the Yahoo equivalent of a BIN. As I understand it, Rinkya is a proxy service that enables you to do your own bidding on the items you wish to buy whereas other proxy services do the bidding and buying for you. And, according to the info on the home page, you can pay for everything through your PayPal account.

The downside is that you still have to pay for both lots of shipping and whatever they charge for their services. Also, you have no comeback if the item goes missing, gets damaged in transit or is not as described by the seller's description.

I'm still in two minds as to whether I want to buy direct from Japan or not. The white GG almost inspired me.

HUmn,
Well the only things I saw on there were some CIB accessories Japan versions I didn't have, and one good USA CIB that was in nice shape that I have a couple of already. I don't think I'm going to go through all that work for the three boxed pirates on there. But I do want them badly. :(

I used to buy a ton of stuff through Rinkya, once you get your head around it it's fine. I would still be buying stuff but the exchange rate for the yen is pathetic compared to how it used to be.
Oh and when you searched for game gear on rinkya, go to the second page of results and it's there. Says 'Game Gear All Items'.

Hey goose I tried to go in and accept your 2nd chance offer and it's saying added to my basket? WHat the heck is that? Is that something eBay does in UK differnet from the USA or is this something new they just changed? I'm used to accepting the 2nd chance offer buy just buying it??????? If it doesn't work right on eBay then just we can just work it out on here. I can paypal you through a PM on here if this "basket" thing doesn't work? Either way I'll take it for sure.

That's weird. It should just appear as a BIN auction.

I'll wait for the offer to expire (you're the only one i've offered it to) and we can sort it out on here.

I've reported "ttattajhles" to eBay. He has won a load of GG auctions recently at stupidly high prices and not paid. I know of at least 5, including 3 of mine.

I'm never going to let a buyer with zero feedback bid on my stuff again.

Sega Master system virtually unplayed with all the trimmings
Post Posted: Sun Apr 03, 2011 9:32 am
Hey I just put up this mint condition virtually unplayed Sega Master System today on ebay. Buy it now for $120, or bidding starts at $99. I love this system, obviously preachin to the choir here with that sentiment. Check it out! You will not be disappointed.

The ebay item number is #260762843946, just copy that into the ebay search bar and my master system will pop right up. Thanks!
